Diwali is one of the Biggest Festivals in India. It's also known as Festival of Lights. On this ocassion people seek blessings from their relatives and wish their friends. People also give gifts to each other. It's a festival of fire crackers and lots of sweets! :)
It's celebrated very much like Christmas, though India celeberats both Christmas and Diwali in big way. You can find our all about Diwali here.
